Broadband quality monitor not working

Broadband quality monitor not working. I put my ipv4 address in the set up process and it doesn't collect any data.

Re: Broadband quality monitor not working

There is no option to allow response to an IPv4 ping with the MAx router, but it does seem to respond to IPv6 by default.

By default a Sky Broadband circuit to a Max Hub will be using IPv4 address sharing through Map-T, which probably breaks such things.

Re: Broadband quality monitor not working

I tried on ipv6 not working.

Does sky do any error correcting in first 10 days of FTTP activation that could cause lagg in games or even openreach themselves?

@Palm886

The map-t referred to by @TimmyBGood means that up to 8 people share the same public ipv4 however this can be overcome by manually portforwarding or enabling UPnP.  You can also contact sky to disable map-t putting you on a 1:1 public ipv4
