Broadband not working after set up.

I have recently bought a Sky Max Hub ( it's serial code is: 3116238D012926), I have received an email saying my Sky Broadband would be activated on the 20th, which is today. Having set it up as told to do so, the light on the device being white, and the sky broadband tester on the MySky app telling me it's working fine. All of my devices can't remotely ( as apposed to cable) find it or connect to it. Is there any path I can take to solve this issue? Or do I have to wait because my sky broadband hasn't been activated yet?

@AlNiCo when you say you bought a Sky Max hub do you mean literally you bought it from a third party? If so it is not been paired to your account so it is unlikely to work. The hubs are Sky's property and lent to customers and have to go back when the customer leaves Sky they should not be sold..

If however it has been loaned to you buy Sky they should have set up in the My Sky app but that process maynot be completed until your service goes live.

Re: Broadband not working after set up.

Hey, thanks for the reply!

I did loan/ buy it off of sky itself and it has been set up in my sky app already, I can test it and it says it's working. But all of my devices can't find it or connect to it as if it is not there.

@AlNiCo there have been a number of similar posts this morning try a full reset by holding in the WPS button for up to 30 seconds when the led flashes to see if thst shows the SSID. If tgst doesnt work you will have to report this to Sky which is today easier said than done as there is a major issue with their Stream pucks and Glass TVs
