Broadband keeps dropping

My broadband keeps dropping for what seems to be no reason - haven't moved the router/changed any cables/ touched anything. 

Internet light on router goes orange and then it slowly reconnects to broadband, can go an hour or so without doing it but can also drop 3 times in an hour. 

Any ideas? As I said, I've literally changed nothing it just has begun to repeatedly drop out over the past few days.

 

Phoned sky and they've booked an engineer but they're not able to come for a week and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how to fix? Done all those tests in the mysky app etc

If Sky have booked an engineer then it is probably because there is a fault in your line somewhere outside of your property that is causing this to happen so if it is then sadly there is nothing you can do to fix it.
