Broadband keeps cutting out

Have never had any issues with our broadband for the last year and a half, suddenly the internet keeps cutting out intermittently. When this happens the internet light flashes orange and the voice light turns solid orange. I've tried restarting and still the same problem.

The internet is online more than not but it's stilll very frustrating.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

@BenC3 this is an issue we see reported quite frequently most commonly the issue is with a fault on the copper line assuming you have a partial fibre connection. If thst applies run the service checker in the My Sky app to see if it picks up an issue and offers to book an engineer to check the line.

 

If it doesn't then call Sky but shether they can get Openreach to check the line which depends on whether the fault passes the threshold they set. In theory the automatic systems should stabilise the line and with the switch to full fibre Openreach are less willing to repair marginal copper lines.
