Broadband issues

I am having Broadband issues. 
it relates to the internet connection. WiFi is ok and all of my various WiFi gadgets connect to the wifi but there is no internet. 
the warning light on my router is slowly flashing green. I have tried rebooting it (switching off for a minute then reconnecting.) but no difference. I am now without TV (sky glass) and all of my Alexa gadgets are not working. 
any suggestions please.
