Broadband issues again

WiFi has dropped again. This past week its dropped every night.

This is very frustrating and not what I'm paying for.

Re: Broadband issues again

Same here, all day on Friday the 10th of May; yesterday and today every 10-15 min the connection goes down.
I have followed every suggestion made by Sky Services, including turning the mode off completely and starting again.
What is going on?

Re: Broadband issues again

Mine has done it again tonight at around the same time. So definitely a problem at Sky.

Re: Broadband issues again

I connected an old Sky and 3rd party router and mine comes on fine. Its an issue relating to the new VOIP tech for landlines. So I presume you have those routers and I light for voice on the front?

If you have the older routers or another you can use, your Internet will be on as it bypasses the voice function. Just have a mobile phone ready should you need one.

@Rupinder there have been numerous similar reports recently especially this weekend. Broadband delivered over copper phone lines is vulneable to bad weather and this weekend to the extreme solar activity. It is impossible to know exactly what is causing your issue but it continues call Sky and see if they can get Openreach to check your line for faults.
