Broadband is slow

The WiFi is good in the house but when connecting to a play station it is slow when he is playing his games

Is the Playstation located further away from the hub than most devices? This can often be the cause. 

Also the antenna on consoles are often not as good as other devices so they need to be closer to the WiFi router.
