Broadband install delayed

I've just moved into a new house on a main road , I had Sky Glass in old apartment but when moving into our house I went back to Sky Q and BB and Talk. There was 2 houses renovated next to each other on a main road and my neighbour was waiting 5 week for her broadband installation due to a blockage and overhead cables. When we moved in 3 weeks we are still waiting on the 3rd party to let Sky know the work is done. Apart from this being a nightmare with 3 small kids I understand the work needed but surely if my only neighbour has got hers and was delayed for same problem but now she has sky broadband why is mine taking so long I live next door. Surely whatever was done for her house would be ready for mine?

@Luke+Samuel the "third party" is presumably Openreach who own and operate the network  Sky and many other isps use. Openreach do not give a running commentary on why a job is taking longer than expected to their customer who is Sky so they often can tell you the end customer much. Multiple possible reasons like availability of the right team or equipment, differences in the job or simply one home had a clear duct but the one for your property is blocked.

Essentially it's a guessing game but if you enter your full address into the following checker and post the table and first three line of the notes after removing the reference to your address forum members maybe able to tell you what is the probable reason -

Openreach Checker

I'm afraid that doesn't follow: the way the national FTTP rollout is proceeding means the final connector each property is tackled individually as orders come in.
