Broadband hub statistics does not show speeds

Hi,

I have a Broadband Hub and when I look at the statistics page, the Download and Upload speed are always displayed as zero. Why is this?

Also, is there a way of knowing the speed for each of the 4 LAN ports?

Take over from the vdsl modem inside the hub and the speeds are carried over

To speed test use an ethernet device using fast.com with nothing running in the background

As @cookiemonsteruk indicates, when behind an ONT a router doesn't show a 'sync speed' (and there's really no such thing with an optical connection anyway).

Ethernet will negotiate a connection at the speed of the slowest chipset (typically either 100 or 1000Mbs): I'm not aware of any device which indicates throughput over an ethernet port.

You can view the speed a device is connected to a LAN port on the device itself. E.g. In windows in network settings it will either show 10/100 or 10/100/1000
