I've contacted my previous provider and they are still awaiting confirmation of switch to Sky broadband. I am not able to close my previous account with previous provider due to them not being told of switch.
I was told they would be informed of switch. I am still getting billed for my previous provider as well as Sky.
Previous provider was TalkTalk. Have not had TalkTalk since November. I have contacted TalkTalk and they need notice from Sky of the switch over to their broadband.

That might suggest you've had a new provision rather than a 'switch' : switching can't happen without the 'losing' provider being aware of the change.
