Broadband billing issues

Hiya,

 

So ife been with sky a while about 3 years now and I had a normal broadband hub and had no Internet in room directly next to the hub so I got told to go for max but max is £50 a month and terrible speeds also? Can anyone advise me on what to do

@bringme1995 it sounds like your home must have solid internal walls if you cannot getvwifi innthe next room to the hub. Wifi Max which Sky is offering might help,as they can supply extender pods but if your home is seriously wifi unfriendly isnt going to work as the pod connects to the hub by wifi. 

It is worth looking st what you can do easily first is check the hub is in the best position which is out in the open on a surface so it is above most furniture and radiators etc. Condudercwhether you could run ethernet cables to any problem areas. If not considrvbuying powerline networkinng kit thst uses your home's wiring to carrybthe signals.

I already have max and it isn't doing much for the Internet. How do I go about downgrading?
