Broadband and sky max

I'm going to change from virgin media to sky gigafast + , I have bad download speed and WiFi in general I have a WiFi exdender on virgin too, do I need to get a sky max or booster too so I get the right speeds to my room.

My mum has the virgin media broadband in her name  so does sky broadband have to be in my name on my sky account and billing but mostly overall I need good WiFi and download speed for my Xbox.

You'd need the WiFi Max subscription supplement on the account to be able to claim the loan of booster hardware.

They'll encourage you to add it as part of the sales script, and it's an option on the online pathway.

If it's Sky Gigafast+ through City Fibre, doesn't Sky WiFi Max come as part of the deal?

@James519 is this the 2.5Gbps or 5Gbps service you're talking about?

Re: Broadband and sky max

So the simple practical answer is to get the gigafast and sky max calling sky with also using your sky VIP broadband deal
