My house alarm will not connect to the WiFi. Our engineer says our WiFi is not transmitting the 2.4 mhz only the mhz level so there may be a problem with the router ?

Re: Broadband Signal
@Sharon207 yourcSky hub is transmitting a 2.4GHz signal but it is part of a dualband SSID which some kit with basic wifi cards cannot connect to. If you have a black Sky hub you can split the two bands see Split Sky WiFi bands
However the newer white hubs cannot do thst so the procedure is to turn off tge 5GHz signal for a few ninutes connect the alarm then turn the 5GHz band back on. The settings are in the My Sky app.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
