Broadband Shield blocklist removal request

Hello,

The website I own is being blocked by Sky Broadband Shield on grounds of it containing malware. It has been checked and it does not contain malware. However I cannot find any way to contact the right department at Sky to request its removal from the blocklist. The helpline people don't know. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Many thanks in advance,

Pete

Re: Broadband Shield blocklist removal request

Thanks Timmy but the issue is that Sky customers using Broadband Shield can't access my website. I can bypass it for myself but that doesn't solve the underlying problem.

Step 2 has an email address for website owners to use to contact Sky in the case of incorrect blocking.

Websites are categorised for Sky Broadband Shield by a third party.

Email us if

you think the website should be blocked or allowed based on your settings.

you own a website that you think is in the wrong category.

We'll review and if it’s in the wrong category, we’ll get this updated as soon as we can.

Thanks very much. I originally thought this step was only accessible to Sky customers but I've now emailed that address. Cheers!

In addition to Sky, your site may be blocked by other ISPs a good site to check is blocked.org.uk which is worth testing additionally.
