Broadband / Router move within our home request
Good morning,
we are very long-standing sky customers of 20 years plus. we recently purchased a sky glass tv however have regular and frustrating problems with the router, which is in another room, failing to talk to the tv and programmes often just going off which is just so annoying spoiling the new tv experience. We have already had a sky engineer visit to test and add the sky booster to help the connection. What I would like to ask now is can you arrange for a sky engineer to visit and move my router to the back of the tv in the Lounge so we can use an Ethernet from the router directly into the sky glass tv. Can you please contact us to arrange a visit if this can be organised. Also what is the cost for this service .
Regards
steve and Deirdre marr

@SM58 Sky cannot act on a post in this forum as they cannot link your ID to an account.
You would need to call them to get the master socket moved which maybe possible if tge layiut of your home allows it. However it may incur a charge. Certainly what you are thinking of doing is sensible as streaming video over WiFi can be difficult.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
