Wi-fi not working

Have tried rebooting. Diagnostics stopped working 17.10. 

I have called sly help and they say "the line is testing okay but there is an outage" which could take 2 working days to resolve.  

The outage is with BT and could be anything.  It isn't showing up on our end.  Nothing to do but wait.

You're kidding. That's atrocious customer service, they should be proactively working to resolve it's their service that is down - we pay them not BT.

There are no online checks currently, they are unavailable. 1 hour later, presumably thousands with a simultaneous outage so let's stop them finding out what's wrong

I was in the queue for 25 mins while trying the usual cable unplug / router off restart things and then my landline handset battery died, and have seen all these similar posts here so going to assume it's general issue

According to social media there are a lot of internet not working across the whole of the uk Iv done all the tests yet it states it's all up and working fine

Sky is gaslighting us 🙄

I called and they told me it was an outage but the line is testing okay. Who knows.

Nobody said it was a problem with your equipment but when issues like this occur a line test should pick up on the fault but you are right there does appear issues in the West Midlands at present judging by all the other posts.
