Broadband Internet keeps dropping (not wifi)

Back again,

 

This has still not been fixed, despite a visit from an engineer who said it had.

 

The middle light, the Internet, keeps dropping at least twice per day.  We are paying quite a lot for our broadband and if we can get it fixed will look to switch to a mobile provider or even Elon Musks services. 

 

Can someone please help, I suspect we'll need an engineer again

I'm having the same problem, drops 5/6 day and very little internet access after midnight.

 

Open Reach came this morning, said he had sorted the problem in the box in the village, did no work in the house and went. 2 minutes later, amber light, another 2 minutes and Sky saying all fixed!!!

Hi, this is an intermittent fault that we are monitoring following resetting the router, as you advised. The fault needs to stay open for longer so we can see if it will reoccur.   Which it has twice today. 10.05 and 13.43.

So frustrating and has been going on for a long time.   If it's not fixed soon I will explore mobile providers (our backup anyway) or even starlink.   I'm not a BT engineer but it feels like an overload or bandwidth issue on the exchange end. Certainly a provision to thr building issue.

And now at 16.14 also. So reset of the router did not work as fault still active.
