Broadband Change Over

I contacted Sky in late April prior to my Essentials Broadband contract ending and signed up for Superfast Fibre. I was given a go live date, informed my current hub was compatible and the change would be done remotely. I also downgraded my Talk to Pay as You Go. I have since been advised several times that Openreach are having issues which is preventing the broadband swapping over. The Talk has changed. I am now being charged silly money for the outdated Essentials Broadband, which is precisely why I moved to Superfast Fibre. My contract is with Sky, not Outreach, so why is it that I am financially loosing out? Can I do anything other than wait?

@NikRavo

If you go to this site and use the 'address checker' and then post the resulting table back here we can look at what might be going on.

I'd hope that means you will be eligible for automatic compensation for delayed provisioning.

@NikRavo then post tge result after removing the reference to the address but include both the table and the first two or three lines of the notes. Forum members are fluent in Openreach.

Re: Broadband Change Over

@Chriseebest I can do, HTML removed. Sky's website stated fibre available and accepted my order. BT box at bottom of road too states fibre available.
