Re: Broadband Activation
@Las+Ragdol what service are they moving from and to? If the switch involves fitting a new fibre line the engineer fittingbthecservice should set up,their new hub and connect at least one device. However if the switch does not involve a change in line the old hub should continue working.

Re: Broadband Activation
@Las+Ragdol WiFi Max does come with a new hub but the old one should still work until you can swap it. Tthey might get hassled to return the old one but Sky usually dont bother for the first few weeks. This is link explains WiFi Max https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

Re: Broadband Activation
If the television (or an attached device) uses internet connectivity then these will need to be taught the new WiFi credentials.
Swapping to new broadband typically involves plugging a phone handset into the rear of the ISP router and all telephone sockets at the property ceasing to function, which can be distinctly problematic for older users.
