Booster stopped after emergency telecare button fitted
Hello,
My very poor of health elderly father has had a telecare button installed in his room in case he has another fall.
Since then, the booster (still giving three green lights) no longer connects.
My father's device and broadband access is a bit of a lifeline for him and he's really upset about it and wants the Telecarer taken away.
I've no idea how it works as it's plugged into the mains only.
No amount of reconnecting and rebooting can get a signal back in his bedrooms.
Can anyone offer any advice?

Re: Booster stopped after emergency telecare button fitted
@Clairefg these alarms can use a different wireless protocol called Zigbee that can interfere with the 2.4GHz wifi band which is possibly the issue. Try making sure the booster is well away from the base station of the alarm. With boosters they should be installed half way between the hub and where you need the boost.
Hopefully that helps.

Re: Booster stopped after emergency telecare button fitted
The OT moved the call button into the hallway. Unfortunately it hasn't helped, we've two boosters but it just seems to still be blocking the signal. Only thing I can think to do is to pay some experts to come and install their own equipment.
