Bad WiFi

Our wifi signal is very bad, we have sky internet and further lag for fiber for faster internet. Our phones run off personal data and not the internet as the signals too weak, our fire stick connects but we find it hard to watch things through the grainy picture and buffering screens. I'm not sure what we pay for garuntee wise but I've ran a speed test every day on the speed test app, and we aren't getting anywhere near what we are meant to be getting. Running the test through sky webpage says everything's good/ok/no issues but we are having issues. 

the Speedtest app on my phone reads our upload at 40.8mbps and upload as 13.3mbps.

 

can you shed any light on the situation?
