BT connection service poor

Hi, Sky guy turned up last Wednesday to fit phone/broadband. Said he couldn't do it and proper BT engineer needs to do connection. That was the 23 April? Today just been told they will update me on the 3rd of may, they don't even say that it will be sorted by this date. Think I might regret switching from virgin to Sky. Can I just cancel the whole thing, they have fitted the dish and Tv,  but at least 2 weeks with no broadband Is a joke

@GDONALDSON55

Under distance selling rules you are allowed to cancel the lot within 30 days of installation, but you will need to contact Sky directly to do so soon...

  • Sky has to rely on OR to sort the connection and they are busy currently with FTTP growth and that they connect lines for all ISPs.
  • Virgin don't rely on third-party infrastructure.
Passing on the tips I have learned in over 24 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.
