I have fitted the BG outdoor twin socket I can't get it to connect even after I have disabled the 5G

On a white Max Hub it's typically necessary to move the default wireless encryption from WPA3-T to WPA2 

Of course there's always the possibility that the device is out of range...

When you fitted the socket did you use both the earth wire connection points on the back as one is for the socket and one for the WiFi connection?

first time I attempted the connection a forgot to save when disabling the 5g until I did that it wouldn't connect in the app
