Asus DSL-AC88U FTTC Settings

Hi all,

i am having issues with getting VDSL linknup and working. DSL comes up with no issues. 

im looking to change from the 203 router to The Asus DSL-AC88U

I am based in Scotland and its FTTC

ut cant get it to authenticate and go live. 

old Modem confirms its Traffic Type of PTM

Network Type is MER

I have left router off for 60mins after settings have been applied and still VDSL wont go online. 

Have doen automatic IP

And also PPPOE as below.

In the uk sky use dhcp option 61 .

Change the pppoe to auto ip which should bring up client identifier (option 61) and enter 

anything@skydsl|anything

The rest look fine

Thats the thing i dont get the Option 61

Thats on the latest firmware also

Maybe worth while rolling back to an older firmware?

Are you sure about that? Your screenshot shows firmware version 1.10.08 but the Asus website suggests the latest version for your router is 3.0.0.4.386
