My AI is prioritising traffic originating from Apple equipment successfully, especially HomePods!

I switched my router and HomePod Mini off while I was away over Christmas, and am now experiencing the same issue! Have spent most of the day trying to fix, so (sort of) good to find this is a system-wide problem...
Fingers crossed that Sky can fix this ASAP, it's pretty annoying.

Got the same issue. Cheesed off that expensive Christmas present is unusable. Following thread in hope of imminent solution.

Big thanks @LM0383 for the helpful wi-fi extender info - Will look into it. 🙂
Maybe @TimmyBGood & @Chrisee could hold off on the sky cheerleading routine for a bit and relay what paying customers are having to do to get their botched sky hardware working?

My two HomePod Mini units connected back to WiFi on December 24th without me doing anything. Then on December 25th, **bleep**, disconnected again !

All my three HomePods disconnected yesterday. Didn't realise this was an issue across the board. Could have saved apple support an hour trying different things. Oh well I guess we just have to wait patiently.

I'm experiencing the same issue. My 3 homepods first started loosing connection a couple of days ago and now I can't connect them at all!
I've tried resetting both homepods and router. Even reset my phone network settings and deleting and creating from scratch my home in the Home app. Nothing helped 😞
I have two HomePod (2nd gen) and one HomePod Mini.
My firmware version is 7.03.0400.R. How can I downgrade?

There is no way for a user to do so: that typically wouldn't be available on any ISP router. Once the seasonal software freeze is over, Sky will need to release a different version.

I got a HomePod for Christmas and have been struggling to set it up per said WiFi issue.
Is anyone else having any luck or are we still waiting on a fix?

Like others I have had problems since early December.
I bought a new HomePod mini as the one in my lounge was being erratic - I connected the new one in the kitchen and the lounge one stopped altogether, it was still under warranty so the retailer provided a replacement . On trying to connect the replacement mini both lost connection and haven't worked since
I've been onto Apple support twice now and they're convinced it's a connection to broadband issue rather than hardware - as both minis are new and the replacement mini was tested prior to dispatch
I really hope there is a fix for this soon - I only came across this thread by chance after googling sky broadband support !!

I recommend this trick for now: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/Apple-HomePod-Won-t-Connect-to-WiFi/m-p/4517747#M369193
Since I have used the extender I didn't have any other problem.
Far to be ideal but it works well

As of yesterday my HomePods/other smart devices have been able to reconnect to my internet and seem pretty stable so far (touch wood). I didn't do much apart from wait.
Hopefully the rest of your devices get sorted soon

@LM0383 just a quick thanks on the WiFi extender suggestion. I've followed your advice and now have a connected mini pod 🙂

Thanks for the reply , I've ordered the extender so fingers crossed 🤞🏻 it works.

Thanks so much for this advice - the WiFi extender worked a treat and both of my
homepod minis are working !!!
