All 3 Max Pods have gone offline again
Hi All
I upgraded to Fibre 500 since the beginning of Aug 2025, and have had problems since then. All 3 of my max pods have disconnected, leaving me with very limited broadband access throughout my home. This is a recurrence of the same issue that began on 19th August, when the pods remained offline for an entire month. During that time, I spent hours on the phone with Sky support and had multiple engineer visits, yet no one could provide a clear explanation or solution. The pods eventually reconnected on 16th September, the day before another engineer was due to attend, with no explanation from Sky as to why they had failed or how they suddenly came back online.
Now, exactly a month later (16th Oct) the same issue has happened again, I have sent a email to Sky on the day, not got a reply yet. Spoke to Sky Advisor who said it may be one of the pods is faulty, which will stop the others working, not sure if that is correct as I thought each pod works independently. The funny thing is he stated when I get the replacement just replace with any pod. The first engineer who came in Aug said it was an issue at Sky and nothing can be done by him. The second engineer said the same thing. Not sure if this is the same issue, but it does look like it.

Re: All 3 Max Pods have gone offline again
@Themoogster as you have had multiple visits by engineers it is unlikely forum members can offer much help,as we areccustomers. However a faulty pod is a possibility and swapping the pods out one by one could help I would swap the one nearest the hub first as if they are daisy chained that would explain the loss of all 3.
The other thing I would check is whether something could be interfering with the closed 5GHx band dignal to pods and hub use for backhaul. This should be visible on a wifi analyzer app on an Android phone but hopefully thst is something the dngineers checked when in site.
