How can I connect alexa with out land line

What kind of broadband do you have?

Such devices have zero functionality (apart from being a paperweight) without an internet connection.

A Sky Hub will be broadcasting a WiFi signal, and that's what Alexa uses. Typically you'll need a mobile device to host the Alexa app though.
