Additional Sky Max Pods

I have recently upgraded to sky fibre gigafast, and sky Max.

however the new router is giving worse coverage in my home. Mainly I think down to the fact I'm on SkyQ and didn't realise the additional mini boxes work as a WiFi mesh, but the new router doesn't support this.

i received one sky max pod, and that works perfectly where I used to have the old sky hub booster, however the rooms at the back of the house now get minimal WiFi (1.58Mbps).

I contacted sky to ask for an additional pod, but there sending an engineer round.

is this really needed? I just moved the pod I have into one of the back rooms and immediately got great WiFi in there (downside is I now have poor WiFi in the room I took it out of).

I know an additional pod would resolve this issue altogether as I've just tried it so do I really need to waste an engineers time? Is there know way sky can just send another pod?!? It's a plug and takes 2 seconds to install! All an engineer is going to do is to see the slow speed and do that anyway?

thanks

A 'wireless engineer' visit is specified in the terms of the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' before additional pods are allocated.

@Tom6891 The Engineer is supplied and to also give you the benefit of his/her experience regarding mesh and pods reaction etc!
