84 year old Mum without phone and broadband for over a week now and Engineer not turned up

My 84 year old Mum has been without her phone and broadband for over a week now. I reported the issue when I realised last Saturday. The line checker reported that there is fault outside the property and an Engineer would be sent to fix it, she didn't need to be home. No date or time was given but we had to wait 2-5 working days for them. No sign of anyone and no information about when they would be coming. I started a message chat with a Sky worker who said I had to wait until the end of the day before it could be escalated further and of course now no-one is working to deal with it because we're at the weekend again. Please can someone help me help my Mum without me having to try and call the helpline and get through all the barriers of not being the Account holder. Thanks!

I am afraid  you are not talking  to  sky  on here we are all fellow customers on here like yourself, best thing to do is call sky  again about  this issue on  behalf of  your  mother, sorry to here about this

As long as you know the telephone password you should be able to speak to Sky on your Mums behalf and get any update Sky have received from either Openreach or City Fibre. The only thing you can't do is cancel any part of your Mums subscription.

@Anonymous You do not make it clear but when an engineer get's scheduked you should be able to see it all in the Account my Messages or the Order section for your mum's sky system. You cannot rely on chat as a method for it all to fall into place or let's say I WOULD not!
