I would like to buy a wireless doorbell camera however the ones within my price range don't support 5GHz. Will running 5GHz and 2.4GHz affect the speed of my Internet connection?

@Kalel2412 Depends on the router that you might have to split the Wi-Fi frequencies. Do you have a black or white router from Sky?

Re: 5GHz and 2.4GHz connections
It's not possible to unsynchronize and rename the wireless bands on a Max Hub: the most which can be done is to temporarily disable the 5Ghz band using the Hub administration settings in the My Sky app.

Canyon tell me how you disable the 5GHz in the app? I can't see this anywhere.

Re: 5GHz and 2.4GHz connections
The Sky instructions are:
Open the My Sky app.
Tap Product Settings on Home or the Broadband tab.
Tap Sky Max Hub.
Tap WiFi Settings then Advanced settings.
Tap Disable WiFi.
Disable WiFi page in My Sky
You can switch off WiFi bands, but this can reduce WiFi coverage in your home and can disconnect some devices.
6. Tap Sky Max Hub from the Disable network list.
7. Toggle 2.4 GHz or 5GHz to off.
Good to know: If you turn off both, it’ll disconnect all WiFi connected devices including Sky Max Pods. You won’t be able to reconnect your devices with WiFi - you’ll need to use an Ethernet cable instead.
