Yes I can do that this evening.
Is there any page/information (from the router) in particular that I should capture?
If you follow this guide https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/How-to-find-your-Sky-Broadband-router-stats/td-p/2855717
You'll be able to post your stats

@Skull+Treaty thanks very much for your help, it seems that maybe a reset of the cables has rectified the issue. The VR400 is now showing similar statistics as the Sky router.
It's maybe not getting it's full potential @Highlinder but at least it is now inline with the Sky router. Is there anything you would advise to trying to get more from it or is it just a matter of time of day, line speed etc?

I have just bought the tplink ac2100 but when I plug it in to set up it's saying I have no Internet connection so I'm thinking of returning it.

That's hardly surprising: if you read through this thread you'll see that expecting any non-Sky router to just plug in and work isn't realistic.

I didn't expect that. I read through all the setup guides online and also watched YouTube videos on setting up, but even following what they did didn't get me past the setup bit where it attempts to connect to the net

I use the TP-Link VR 2100 to replace either the SR203 or the ER110 with Sky Q, it works much better than the SR203.

One thing that stands out is your connection appears to have been banded by DLM, possibly due to noise on the line, which will explain the raised SNR. The banding may be removed over time unless you are connected to an ECI cabinet.

@mae-3 apologies for bringing up an old topic but I am looking at replacing my sky router with a WIFI 6 router. I have read through the forum which was really useful so I'm happy with most things I need to know but didn't see if it had to be a modem one. So would be grateful if you could offer me some advice.

The asus dsl ax82u is a dsl wifi 6 modem router . However the functionality of a vdsl modem router with fttp ont when it arrives in your area is an unknown commodity
Best going for a standalone modem bridge and seperate wifi 6 router to guarantee future compatibility with fttp
Instructions for setting up tp link td w9970 as modem bridge
select sky vdsl from isp list

Thank you, I have actually been looking at the RT-AX86U. So to confirm, as not very techy myself lol, RT-AX86U will work but will need to bridge with my current sky router.

It will give a double nat with the sky hub as both routers will issue dhcp. . Sky hub does not have modem bridge mode. The tp link above has been used here and costs £35 . Your decision will be if you have internet calls whether you can live without a telephone
