As a first simple step, try turning off your router at the plug for 30 seconds or so, then see if your cameras re-connect.

@tonyfrancis

Do they not connect at all even when your at home or is it only when you are away from home?

Re: 3 security cameras stoped working

hi all, I've tried to connect them whilst they are right beside the router. I have bought a new camera at 5 MHz it connected immediately

@tonyfrancis many simple cameras cannot link to the dualband SSI`d thst modern routers offer. The old solution is to split the wifi bands so the hub offers two SSIDs one for each band. This can be done on the older black Sky hubs (see Split Sky WiFi bands) once done the settiing shouldnt change but if the hub is reset or occasionally on firmware updates the hub can return to its default settings and the split has to be done again.

With the newest white Sky Wifi Max Hubcannot split the bands so the solution is to turn off the 5GHz band using the My Sky app connect the cameras and then turn the 5GHz band back on and the cameras should stay networked which works in mostcircumstance but if theyvdrop off the network due to say a power issue you would have to repeat the process to reconnect them.

Re: 3 security cameras stoped working

Tried this this morning cameras still wouldn't connect despite having turned off band 5ghz and left 2.4 on if anyone has another solution I'd love to hear it otherwise will have to buy a 5ghz compatible camera
