220mbps connection speed
I am not getting 500mbps connection speed for my internet. This was updraded 8 days ago and the best I have got from tests is 220 mbps. Why?

Is the app speed test being conducted using an ethernet cable from the hub to a PC or a laptop?
Whenever I do a speed test using the Wi-Fi connection it is invariably slower.
I would suggest using a PC with an ethernet cable from the hub to do a speed test and you can use other apps or websites too such as speedtest.net or fast.com for comparison.

Many thanks for this. I have tried both which are returning max 220mbps out of the 500mbps I should be getting. I did however read that sky can take 2 weeks of calibration to get to the contract speed. That 2 weeks is up tomorrow so I will contact them then if it doesnt get any better.
