1G full fibre ordered 6 weeks ago...

Hi,

I have ordered 1gb full fibre it's been 6 weeks now, an engineer came and installed the fibre line to the property.

We are now past the activation date and just get weekly updates saying "open reach don't have the equipment to connect you to the exchange"

Can anyone explain what this means or if there is anything we can do.

@Sophie_w while the fibre has been laid to your home it sounds like you are waiting on Openreach completing the connection back tomthe exchange. The referencecto equipment may mean road works are required to clear a blocked duct or in some cases overhead access kit to complete a run on poles. In some cases third party permission is required such as from the council to dig up a road or from a land owner to cross their property.

Sky cannot control this process but you should be compensated as and when the job is completed see Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com
