There should be a dedicated Oscar channel on Sky Cinema where you'll be able to watch.

Thanks for replying, the dedicated channel normally appears the month Oscar's are on showing Oscar winning films but there isn't so far

We've not had Sky Showcase long enough for The Oscars to have been shown on it.

It's possible that @Timelord2018 made a typo. I've never seen being spelled as been.

Well, timelords are likely to get confused by present / past tense occasionally I guess..

Surely the broadcast on Sky Showcase is the live transmission? My TV guide on the Sky box says it starts at the same time at 1am as it starts on Sky Cinema Oscars. (And ends at 5am instead of 4am even!) They cannot possibly be editing it that quickly. Therefore, can all Sky subscribers watch the full show now on Showcase? Anyone at Sky can confirm that as that would be great as I do not have a Cinema subscription.

@PatAlan Yes, the Oscars are being shown live on Sky Showcase, the first time in a long time they've been shown live on a channel that isn't part of Sky Cinema, & about time too. The information is all there on the EPG. There is Oscars Night Live from 11.00 pm until 1.00 am, followed by the awards ceremony itself from 1.00 am until 4.10 am.

@Timelord2018 I think that information is a bit wrong. The EPG shows it as being on at 1.00 am until about 4.10 am, not 2.00 am - 5.00 am. Maybe they forgot about the time changing on Sunday morning at 1.00 am when the clocks go forward, even though the Oscars are on 24 hours later. 🤔
