YouTube not streaming 4K

I have a Sony Bravia TV that plays my compatible programs in 4K UHD through my Sky Q box perfectly and where applicable, plays audio in Dolby Atmos.

But the YouTube app through the Sky Q box won't play 4K videos. The max resolution it offers is 1080P

Any ideas?

@Jezbot

That's the maximum resolution from the YouTube app on the Sky Q box. You're never better off using the apps on the Sky Q box...

My Q Youtube app is outputting 4K on marked videos. It won't do HDR though.

Sorry but the marked answer is incorrect the maximum for me on my Sky Q 2TB V2 is Auto (2160P . 4K) which is the maximum and the lowest is 240p

Yes, I got it wrong but was too late to edit the post (and it was marked as correct). I believe it depends on the actual video being played as to whether 2160p is an option, isn't it?
