You cannot pause or rewind….BBC one HD

Watching Wimbledon today 30/6/2021, and getting the You cannot pause or rewind message. Other channels are ok. Turned box off and on, makes no difference. Happened on the tennis coverage yesterday as well, is this a sky q issue or so thing I can fix please.

Hi @krg22 I don't know if this is a limitation and may not be applicable  but where you watching content via the Red button rather than the main channel coverage

It happens sometimes with live BBC programming. It doesn't last though so I've never found it too much hardship.

Thanks all, seems to be a peculiarity of the coverage of Wimbledon / live sport, as mentioned in your answers. Works fine on BBC this morning.

Watching live sport is just when you want this facility to be working, not what I pay Sky subs for, but it seems to be a BBC issue rather than Sky.

I'm convinced it's something to do with how long the box has been tuned to the same channel and the   the amount of cahed data that is required to store hours of 'unrecorded' programming. I switched over to the tennis half hour ago on BBC1 HD and can still pause and rewind perfectly fine.  If they broadcast uninterrupted until 10pm, and I hadn't switched over, I doubt tht would still be the case.
