That's what I thought. Which makes things very silly.
Why can't they just accept a cancellation any time before the monthly renewal date like every other streaming service?

Is the itv hub app the same on Stream as the iOS one?

If you mean for content then yes. On stream it is streamed in HD but with plenty of ADS. It is worth taking out the ad free trial for HUB+ to get the best user experience.

I called Sky about my problems. They are sending a whole new puck and remote rather than just a remote, which means I'll have to set up another box, sign in to a dozen apps and set up favourite channels all over again.
They also said the offers on my account which should have made the Ultimate pack £22 and Sports £20 were not active for some reason, but they would fix that.
As for playlist etc I am waiting on a response from viewer relations, but the lady I spoke to said the glass team knew about these issues. I said that makes me rather angry, because they continue to advertise Playlist as 'recordings, only better', which given the known problems is a flat out lie.

Congrats on the offers £20 for sports is very cheap.

Yeah, although I'm not happy with the box performance so let's start from scratch and see what happens.
Today trying to watch Disney through the puck the sound was out of sync again, but maybe it's just because I've only really watched sport on the sky channels I hadn't noticed it being out of sync on those too. I'll have to set a delay in the settings...

Just a thought actually.
Having used stream for a week, it's a much better app integration than Q, which is essentially a Sky decoder that can access the apps.
The UI on Stream (and Glass) makes it feel like Disney, Netflix and Prime etc are actually Sky content. Having recent items from any app or channel on the top rail is actually rather cool.

Sound goes out of sync when you rewind or fast forward on Netflix too. It does this cause the Puck doesn't have enough RAM apparently!

RAM costs tuppence ha'penny these days. If that's truly the case it's an appalling bit of cheapskatery by Sky.

I thought it was availability that was the issue.

Just for those who thought I was a Sky Stream fan boy - I have found a problem tonight. Trying to watch the tennis on Prime and the picture is jerky and the sound is way out of sync. Rewinding slightly sorts the sync out but the picture problems remain. I am now watching via Fire TV and it is like night and day. I will contact Sky about it if it continues tomorrow.

Had my first Sky TV blip this week when I sat down to watch the last episode of season 11 of Curb Your Enthusiasm. It rebuffered approximately five minutes in but maintained a good connection for 30 minutes before the screen went blank, then blue and stuck on a blank blue screen. Couldn't get it back into playing back until I pressed the Home button on the remote and found it on the home screen again, but having had to scroll up and down a few times.
This was around 4am in the morning, so hardly a busy time of day for internet traffic. I'm on ethernet with 1Gbs connection from Virgin Media and Sky Stream is the only service which regularly falls over flat on its face one way or another.
