Yes, it’s about time. However the green bannered “answered” at the top of this thread and appears in google searches is misleading as this is still an unresolved fault.  Glad to see Sky is looking into it,

That post simply said they were looking into it. in no way does that constitute "resolved" nor "answered". It's an interim statement.

I wonder if anyone noticed a change few days ago. I'm currently not seeing any issues, even two days ago when the rain fade was substantial.

@emteepeeess

Signal strength still seems lower than all the others at about 60% but I'm not getting the "No Signal" error anymore.

Yes it is lower - but now locking reliably.

I've had a spectrum analyser across it for a while, but it's right at the top end of the LNB's low-band and right at the bottom end of the high-band, so is falling in the "drop-off zone" (which is clearly visible on the analyser). I'm not sure where the "60%" comes from, but the received transponder is about 12-15dB lower than most other multiplexes.

All,

Sky have confirmed that anyone having problems with receiving CNN should arrange a callout. The problem is .likely to be caused by a slight dish misalignment.

SO there is a cost to something that has suddenly started happening at the same time to many of us! ?

Slight dish alignment issue??? I can quite happily sit there all day watching it on one box but the other box randomly says there's no signal.

I’m no longer getting the ‘no signal’ message either.  Guess my dish must have realigned itself!

This is possible if the misalignment was very slight and the dish moves with the wind

Re: Where has CNN news gone my box saying no signal for this channel ?

 Nothing to do with dish aliignmnet The fault was at skys end and and as been cured well done sky

I havnt moved my dish and tested it with a satlelite meter adn is at around 90% on signal and the same on signal quality and for people on here to say that the wind as blown it into alignment is laughable
