Virgin Media (Broadband) + Sky Glass = not working as we all aware of. Just spoke to customer services and they are skill worming on it. I also tried connecting via hotspot ( vodafone) = same error / result. Seems like it's Sky issue and not virgin media.

I  believe the only relevant regulator (Ofcom) wouldn't have the power to do that.

 

Even the Broadband compensation scheme is 'voluntary' and there are a whole lot of ISPs which don't participate in it.

Also having the same problem since early this morning. Very annoying as I've been resetting the Virgin router but the problem seems to be with Sky. Wifi working on all other devices. Please sort this as currently unable to download anything on tv , very annoying !

@jl297488672gb Odd, mine worked fine on my EE phone hotspot, and an O2 user confirmed earlier theirs worked on that.

Mine wouldn't change to my phone hotspot and that is with sky mobile!

Is cert odd it says a problem with broadband in my area but I can watch and connect others just nit sky glass

It's not just a problem for sky glass I have Sky Q and having same issues. Went down around 2am and been unable to connect to the internet but says it's connected to the router on network settings. Tried reboot on sky and Virgin but still same issue.  Wi-Fi working perfectly on all other devices but sadly not any of my sky q boxes.
