Upgrade sky store Purchase digital copy to digital + DVD

Hi I made a purchase on sky store for the digital copy but I wanted the digital copy and the DVD by post

At present Sky are not selling DVDs with the HD downloads due to supply chain issues, that should change sometime so when it does it might be worth you contacting Sky to see if they will allow yo to purchase it for an additional fee.

There are presently no DVDs for sale on Skystore. Sky decided to withdraw them from sale at the end of March due to logistical problems 

There has been a suggestion that when things get back to normal you will have the option to pay for an upgrade to a DVD or Blu-ray - but nothing confirmed yetI

Hi. Read the excuse. But I find that very odd. There is no problem in delivering DVDs. Possibly in Sky getting DVDs. But in that case Sky should legally send DVDs to customer when they have Stock. Considering the price they are charging I would say Sky don't get a choice in matter . Trading standards will have to be informed as this stinks.

If you placed your order when DVD versions were still being sold then you will recieve it, if you only ordered the HD version then I doubt very much trading standards would be interested as Sky removed all mention of the DVD version from the Sky Store.

I say this with the greatest respect but isn't that a bit like complaining about Apple when they sell you a download movie only and not a DVD 

For the period we're discussing, Sky were not offering discs for sale

Well it should be remembered that as example 1917 film is advertised as a download only for £13.99p. You can buy a DVD of film for £9.99. Morally they should send copy DVD to you.  Legally I would say they could be accused of Proffitering.  If they lowered the price on download then maybe ok.

If you believe that the prices are to high and I do agree with on this then we can go elsewhere as thankfully we live in a world where we have a choice.

I have also purchased like a boss on buy and keep and expected to receive a dvd through the psot. I have read the thread and am aware that others have been offered to pay the difference for the dvd to be sent through the post at a cost of  £2, Is that an option available to me?

I have tried to rasie a complaint via sky.com but it will not accept it as it keeps saying the phone number is incorrect.

I've heard nothing about this - where did you hear it ? 

Also - are you aware that this is a customer to customer forum, not a way of speaking direct to Sky. Even the employees who look at the forum don't have access to your account
