I am fuming to think sky are hiking their prices up yet again but this time mines going up from April 1st 2022 to exactly £8.00. It's disgusting. Sky is this how you treat your loyal long standing customers. You wouldn't be where you are if it wasn't for customers like me. It's disrespectful. Either remove this new increase in my bill or I will cancel my contract not that sky will be bothered because they are making enough out of people like me. Also one other thing do something about your all centre being routed to India. I do not live in India I live in England and I want to speak to sky in England. It's another example of the utter contempt sky has for their customers. Signed a not very happy customer

You aren’t talking to Sky Customer Services here. This is primarily a forum for customers to help other customers and Sky won’t contact you as the result of your post on here. There are plenty of other posts about the price increase which happens annually and is allowed under the T's and c's you agreed to.

Well I'm not going to agree with you. If your happy to pay that's entirely up to you but I will voice my objections to a company worth probably billions they can afford it

I get what your saying but I though I had clicked on the billing side of this forum as for your information I've already tried to discuss it with sky customer services to no avail and if what your saying this isn't the forum to discuss it then what's the point of this forum. I don't think I'll bother

28 Feb 2022 08:36 PM
Good for you that you had good service but it don't mean everyone else
28 Feb 2022 08:38 PM
Well I don't care about being in the minimum term. Sky won't get no more money out of me if they continue to fleece their customers I'll just cancel direct debit and they can whistle Dixie

Stopping your direct debit won't work, in fact it’s the worst thing you could do. You will just have your services restricted, incur fees for non/late payment, get a bad credit score and have debt collectors at your door.

No it's not criminal debt and if they do I will not deal with them. If they continue to harass I will call the police and as for being in debt to them I am not bothered

Who mentioned criminal? You seem to have made your mind up so there's nothing else the forum can do you help you.

Once per year, like every other provider I'm aware of.
28 Feb 2022 08:49 PM
Well it sounded like you were trying to make out that when debt collectors turn up at my door I'm somehow I'm going to give in to them and let them scare me into paying. I have seen how debt collectors work they use scare tactics by letter or at your door. You have the right to deny them at your front by renouncing implied access rights to your property. And they like to think to make you think the debt is a criminal debt which I was mentioned criminal debt. It is offcorse a civil debt. Emphasis on civil. No one is under any obligation to pay the debt. And yes my mind is made up.

Not the smoking sky have put it up. I can accept maybe couple of quid a year but not £8 in total
