Unable to remove item from playlist

Well that was a total waste of my time, rejected at the last hurdle. I just hope Sky are not using this to "harvest" information from us....

I've completed the questionnaire but as the questions were about playlist and not play now I didn't mention the play now rail, thinking it might be in a future question. It wasn't and I couldn't go back in the questionnaire so all in all I only managed to get half my points across. I did get to the end of the questionnaire and submit though.

Well it's now April and I still have BBC stuff I can't remove! I watched one episode of Stacey Dooley and panorama and now it's there with no option to remove, I add to playlist in the hope to then remove, but nope, still there. For what we pay this isn't good enough!

Same here. I have an increasing number of programs in the playlist which cannot be removed. I don't know if it's relevant but a lot are sports.  Try to add the series and them remove - no joy. Try and watch every episode doesn't work either. 

For me in its current format the playlist is not fit for purpose. 

Then there's the whole other issue of cloud recordings (or not!). 

The Glass software still feels like a beta version that should never have been released commercially.

My playlist is full of episodes I watched before I got Sky Glass because every episode that exists on all channels are added when I added a series to the watchlist. Plus I've got Escape To The Country in the playlist and I've no idea how that got there because i didn't add it. Sky don't seem to be making any effort to fix the user interface issues.

Supposedly fixed several updates ago - are you referring to the play now rail or the playlist ?

The playlist. I still have several BBC shows I am unable to remove.

I gave up on Sky Glass last March some 6 months ago for the exact same issues being posted in this thread here today RE: Unable to remove item from playlist. Other issues I had were never resolved either.

I had Playlist issues from day one in November 2021, by March the 8th 2022 I'd had enough, had a refund and went back to good old Sky Q. It's a joke Sky still haven't resolved this issue, frankly I don't they they care or know how to !

every thread on this I have read seems to just go quiet. The topic of conversation either changes or it's escalated to a Sky employee with no update afterwards. I was hoping there was a simple fix I had missed 😟 this is a minor but really annoying problem. It's been nearly a year now!

I am a new user of Sky Stream and overall finding it good so far except that I cannot remove unwanted items from Play Now e.g. episodes I already watched or in one case I program I started to watch live and then decided I didn't want to.  Why is there simply not an option to remove an item or am I missing something ?

Same here - Death in Paradise - I don't even have it added to my Playlist yet it still sits there. Adding it and then choosing to remove the show doesn't remove it from my Playlist. Luckily it's not adding any episodes to Play Now...

I have one item, Newsnight, in my Playlist that I cannot remove. 

I can confirm that I understand the difference between Play Now Rail and Playlist - this is definitely a Playlist problem. 

It has no option to remove. If I add it to the Playlist then the remove option appears, but using it does not remove the item - it just leaves it behind with the 'Add Series' button showing again. 

I've tried fast forwarding to the end of the latest programme - didn't work

The issue could maybe be related to the fact there is a cataloguing error - there are 2 series showing - Series 1 and Series 5. 

Series 1 contains every episode ever apart from one

Series 5 contains just one old episode and the icon image is of Frankies New World Order, not Newsnight (although if you click on it, it plays an old Newsnight episode). 

No idea if this is part of the issue of being unable to remove it, but hopefully there will be someone on here better informed than me

I'm having the same issue with "Live: Formula E" on Channel 4, and "Once Upon A Time In Londonograd" on Sky Documentaries.

Remove them and the only option is "Add Series" been through multiple updates (QS9, QS10, QS11), power cycles, and tried on the Glass and Stream all to no avail 😞

So odd it knows the series have been remove (hence the "Add Series" button) but doesn't actually remove them.

Very similar to my issue with Death In Paradise. It's been this way for months, every firmware update I hope it'll be fixed - sadly not yet!
