UHD HDMI Cable advice?
Got a Soundbox and have just got a UHD HDMI Cable as having picture issues.
What i would like to know what is better to have the UHD HDMI Cable going from Sky Q to Soundbox or from Soundbox to TV or is it better to get another UHD HDMI cable so the whole link up is with new UHD HDMI cables?

Re: UHD HDMI Cable advice?
Hi @Macc2021
The Sky pink end high speed cables and / or Amazon basics high cables should be fine for UHD on a 8 bit / 10 bit UHD TV. I realise some customers can see HDCP error messages but the cables I mentioned should hopefully avoid those.
As the route from Sky box through soundbox to TV is really one route split in to two parts- i can't see any difference which cable goes in which part of the route
If you have a directional cable (with arrows on it) make sure the arrows go in the right direction
If you feel the better cable you bought gives you a better picture / sound then logically if not too expensive then having two the same makes sense - but usually the cables I mention should be good enough for most eyes and ears

There's really no such thing as a 'UHD HDMI Cable': that's marketing-speak rather than technology. The appropriate HDMI Forum labelling would be 'Certified Premium High Speed' but unlabelled cable may be just as good (and labels are also widely faked)
The critical factor is length: anything over three metres is getting ambitious for UHD over passive HDMI.
