No sound or picture Lg 43 in

I disconnected the sky sound box from from Lg 43 in TV it was in the daisy chain HDMI mode and worked brilliantly since day one.  I connected it all back up and all the cables are in and right.   However it worked on HDMI now the sky q 2tb box isn't showing a picture or sound.  The TV doesn't even recognise the input now. I need to connect the sky directly to the TV and bypass the box.   The box is just 14 months old.  Does sky sound box Work with Hisense TVs as well.

So you've put a high speed HDMI cable from the Q box and in to the soundbox input 

then another HDMI out of the soundbox and in to your TV

maje sure you haven't got your soundbox input / output the wrong way round (see my guide below if that helps)  

black is the input in to the soundbox 

pink is the output out of the soundbox 

Then definitely selected HDMI on the soundbox menu (make sure it hasn't slipped to optical or Bluetooth)

make sure you have selected the correct HDMI on your TV of course 

If still no picture - obviously try an alternative HDMI cable 

Also worth powering off your soundbox at the mains for a minute 

should also work perfectly well with Hisense 

try the above carefully  - let me know how you get on

Hi yeah all the cables are checked and fine. Used different cables as well.  Is there a way of hard resetting it.  Find it weird that it was unplugged for 10 minutes tops and the whole thing doesn't work anymore.

Yes.  To do the reset - do this 

1. Switch off the power to your Sky Soundbox at the wall and wait for the lights on the front panel to go off
2. Press and hold down the power and volumedown buttons together. Don’t release them
3. While you’re holding down the buttons, switch the power back on at the mains
4. Keep holding down the power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds until the red light on your Sky Soundbox comes on and then changes to amber
5. Release the power and volume down buttons
6. After 5-10 seconds, your Sky Soundbox will make the boot-up sound and turn itself back on. The light will go green
