Re: The Good Wife - moved to paramount?
@Shirley+1968 it has appeared on All 4 today and showed up on my play now rail (even though I'd deleted it from my playlist as I was watching paramount via Prime.
So I've cancelled Paramount before the end of the free trial and am watching on All4.

@Jayboy1990 Yes. I'm ever hopeful that as it becomes more reliable we will be able to depend on it doing this sort of thing.

Re: The Good Wife - moved to paramount?
Wow - can you imagine Sky informing you everytime a programme moved to a different channel, you would be getting an email every few minutes, yet alone the logistics of aggregating such content.

Re: The Good Wife - moved to paramount?
@Anonymous Wow indeed. Imagine my audacity, suggesting that Sky should be able to do something that other suppliers have done previously. Wow.
Incidentally, I wasn't suggesting an email. That was your assumption. On services I've used previously, a little indicator would appear on the series page maybe a month before it was removed, telling you when it would happen. Not that hard to do, presumably, if you have the information. Then people watching regularly and working their way through a series would know to crack on and get through it in time. I've done it several times myself, precisely because of this service.

Re: The Good Wife - moved to paramount?
@Dawnf1 wont sure any service can tell you it's moved channel, other than how glass shows you when you search for it. The service you speak of, out of interest which one is it.

Re: The Good Wife - moved to paramount?
I didn't, at any point, suggest it should be able to tell you when a programme is moving, that came from you or others. I said that I'd had services which show you when it's leaving.
Giving you the opportunity to watch it in time, or get online and find out if it's available elsewhere.
As for which service does/did that, I'd guess Prime, but as I had Prime, Now, Netflix and Free view over the last decade, I cant be sure now.

Re: The Good Wife - moved to paramount?
@Dawnf1 Simple reason warning people that a service is losing content means people look elswhere which is directly against the broadcaster's commercial interest as viewer/subscriber numbers drive income. Gaining goodwill doesn't pay to keep the lights on.

Re: The Good Wife - moved to paramount?
I'd counter that excellent customer service prevents people looking elsewhere.
Sky maybe don't see it that way though.

Re: The Good Wife - moved to paramount?
@Dawnf1 Both Sky+HD and (to a lesser extent) Sky Q tell you when a Box Set will be removed, so you are correct, it's very poor if Sky Glass doesn't.
For reference, The Good Wife on All4 is available until 29th June 2024 (on Sky+HD)

Re: The Good Wife - moved to paramount?
@oj01 interesting, thanks.
I used to have Sky+ before I moved, about 10 years ago, and I hadn't remembered that.
Where does it show you, if you don't mind me asking? I definitely can't find this feature on Sky Glass. But maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

@Dawnf1 On Sky+HD it's behind the 'i' button and appears where the synopsis of each episode is.
On Sky Q it only appears within the final 30 days before its removed, although the dates are always the same on Sky+HD and Sky Q.
