As you only get a 30 day countdown on a Sky Q box one thing you could do to find them is to install the Sky+ app on a mobile or tablet as these will show the actual dates that content is due to be removed.

Annoyingly Sky has done it again, with a date of expiry of the 2nd august , it gets pulled 3 days early. Thanks a bunch, avid fan of the blacklist, planned to download the entire series and watch over the next week or two

What has happened to season 8 of The Backlist, it has disappeared from Sky Go, Seasons 1 through 7 are still available ??
I was halfway through series 8 - aaarrggghhh....

Further up the page is the reason why it has been removed @bobby53 and that is because Catchup content is only available for 30 days.

Thanks for taking the time to contact us this morning about The Blacklist Series 8.
The Blacklist Series 8 is the current series broadcasting at the moment so the previous episodes of this series that had broadcast were only available on our Catch Up service. These episodes have now been removed.
We don't have a date just yet when they will return, however they are likely to come back when we finish airing the rest of series 8.
Thanks again for taking the time to get in touch and take care.

I too have been caught out with Sky removing The Blacklist Season 8, I've watched all seasons up to Season 8, episode 14.
This is simply not good enough, we all pay premium prices for Sky to be treated like this. I don't see how seasons 1-7 are there, and season 8 has been pulled "because it's current and only available for 30 days". It wouldn't be so bad if it was a standalone season with nothing before it, but it isn't so this isn't a reasonable or justifiable reason, and to just pull it without any warning is just terrible treatment of customers. It also appeared together with the other seasons under Boxsets, if it's under different rules, then why not make that clear?
Some of you may accept the reasons given by Sky, but I don't.
My contract is up so this has been a perfect prompt for me to speak to them about a better deal.

The Blacklist is not on at the moment!
I understand now that there is a 30 day limit to see new programmes on catch-up (I didn't know this before).
My issue is with the expiry date quoted on the SkyQ guide (in the programme information on catch-up and by searching).
It clearly stated that it would expire on 4th August. That was not true!
I know nothing can be done about it now but that problem needs to be fixed going forward for all programmes.
I would have finished watching The Blacklist on 3th August. Had I know the correct removal date I would have made sure I'd seen it sooner.
Any ideas when The Blacklist series 8 will be repeated?

I will be emailing sky regards this.... Although I do accept the reasoning, the blacklist seasons are usually long, and people invest time watching these seasons. It's not clear that this wasn't a part of boxsets, and I agree, we pay a premium price for a premium product, and this just isn't good enough.... Netflix makes it plainly clear when a series or season is ending. Having to have it made clear to me by another customer where this info is on sky, suggests its really not clear at all.....

Agreed...
And surely Sky have stats, they know exactly what each subscriber is watching, surely the technology is there to notify customers who've recorded / been watching a series on catchup or whatever that it's coming to an end.
If Netflix can do it.....

The Blacklist Season 8 is on Amazon Prime Video for £2.49 an episode so I've asked them for a £20 credit on my Sky account so I can watch the remaining episodes, as they are not prepared to offer a solution, I'll keep you updated with what they say...😜

What do people not understand about this??! Catch Up TV has ALWAYS been 30 days. The fact the you have assumed it's a box set is entirely your own error. Writing to Sky won't change anything. There's no notifying to be done.
