Re: Support with your Sky bill

Hello, I've had a text asking to contact you, but I don't fall into the vulnerable category.

Can I email or can someone call me? I certainly don't want my service to be disrupted so I am keen to get this sorted out.

Thank you in advance.

Louise

@LuLuMhr  sorry this is a customer to customer forum, we are not Sky and no one on here has access to your account.

Re: Covid 19 and paying bill

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@Katy22 What would you like Sky to do to help the self employed like yourself.

Seeing as it gets rolled out next week via online.

It also depends on how many fraudulent claims they have to deal with so the the self employed and furlough workers are receiving monies they are entitled too.

So really it depends how quickly you pass the four stages before they release the money apologies not wanting to sound too disrespectful.

Re: Coronavirus & bills.

They make it impossible to contact them, yes I understand the situation but we all need some help and advice that we are not getting.

Re: Coronavirus & bills.

Neither SSp or UC would cover the cost of the Sky Bill. Everyone keeps replying with contact Sky but you can't. Every link I click on there is no number just a message saying key workers and vulnerable people only.

Re: Support with your Sky bill

Thanks Chloe but I've already looked at all your solutions online and they didn't offer a solution hence asking the question?

Then if you've not put funds to one side for a rainy day and your welfare benefits won't cover your Sky bill then the sad fact is you cannot afford Sky.  It may sound harsh but it is true and I don't mean to upset you.

Re: Coronavirus & bills.

I was just stating a fact there.

I am not on benefits I am working from home & I can afford my Sky bill thank you very much. I just can't pay it until 6 days after it is due as this current situation has meant my wages are going into my bank later than normal.

I ask a question on here I get told to call Sky, I call Sky and get a message saying go online. It's a vicious circle and compared to the other media companies out there its the worst type of customer service I have ever witnessed, even worse than BT & British Gas and that is saying something.

You must understand we are customers just like yourself, we are not Sky and have no access to your account. The advice given is because phoning or sending a letter by tracked mail is currently the only contact options there are. As an aside I've never had an issue with BT myself.

Re: Support with your Sky bill

@Chloe-W22  Your long post doesn't help my situation. I need to speak to someone and I have been trying to get through for 3 days.  I am a keyworker yet still I get reffered back to the website which cannot help me.

Re: Coronavirus & bills.

I understand that you're just a customer too but this is so frustrating when as a Key worker I still cannot get through to anybody on the phone, no matter what I say I just get told eventually to check the website. I feel Sky are going to lose so many customers over this. I for one am definitly leaving because to be treated in this way after 15 years of loyal service, never queriied price rises, didn't cancelor suspend Sky Sport, it really is disgusting. Sky should hang their heads in shame especially as they as they say oh we're here for the key workers when they are clearly not.

Re: Coronavirus & bills.

A similar question my bill has also gone up and I am outside the minimum contract length or whatever it is and I want to get a fire stick with Tvplayer and cancel my sky. Why do I feel like with the price hikes they have introduced they are deliberately using Corona to where they can block customers switching or cancelling they're services.
