I don't really understand this "we need help to pay our bills" mantra. Am I missing something? The government has pledged to meet the cost of paying people who can't work up to 80% with employers expected to pay the other 20%. A similar scheme has now been announced for self-employed workers. Banks are offering mortgage holidays. What am I missing, why do people suddenly need help from Sky with their bills?

Hi @peter2020 The difference is the government is a public body whereas Sky is a private business supplying a non-essential luxury TV subscription service.

Hi @peter2020 You appear to be getting confused with Sky TV and communications (telephones and broadband). Nobody is saying that communications (telephone and broadband) is not essential. My comment was purely about the TV service (this community). If you want to discuss telephone and broadband then https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband-Talk/ct-p/SkyBroadband
