Re: Super Rugby Pacific 2022
Looking at the Sanzaar Super Rugby Match Centre Broadcaster info I see no mention of Sky having the rights to broadcast here, or any coverage in the UK at this time at all. Absolutely shocking!

It was better than nothing at all...

Re: Super Rugby Pacific 2022
I loved the Rugby Pass offering as it was the Kiwi/Aussie coverage. Much better than Sky UK's own stuff previously I felt.

Frustrating yes, shocking no - sadly.
Remember Sky's main interest will be in the international rights, the club games will likely be a Brucie-bonus. The next round of Sanzaar internationals will be the northern-hemisphere tours in the summer.
Also bear-in-mind, the rights for last-years Rugby Championship were only announced a day before it started.

Re: Super Rugby Pacific 2022
If my Sky Sports package doesn't start including some Rugby I'll be turning it off straight after the Winter Olympics. Seems to be football, football, football and no Cricket or Rugby anymore

Agreed. UK commentators give me the the s*&^s. Far better to have one that knows somethign about the game.

Re: Super Rugby Pacific 2022
I've never known Sky have their own commentary for southern hemisphere/Sanzaar games, but take the host broadcaster's feed.
Sometimes they've had UK-based presentation, but that's something else.

Re: Super Rugby Pacific 2022
Precisely why I got rid of them. I used to love my Sky sports package but football is their focus now. I do miss the F1, but not enough to pay Sky ridiculous rates for one sport!

Re: Super Rugby Pacific 2022
Sky certainly aren't about one sport, but they are prioritising rights deals these days.
I'd like to see them (or BT - just rather not online-only platforms) pick up southern hemisphere rugby rights, but only time will tell.
I wouldn't bet against Premier as an outsider, either.

Re: Super Rugby Pacific 2022
Apologies if this double posts... I am sure I posted this 10 minutes ago but seems to have disappeared.
I have found this online posted one hour ago - https://www.rugbyworld.com/tournaments/superrugby/how-to-watch-super-rugby-pacific-137454
Seems that this is possibly the 2022 version of Rugbypass and it says all 91 games are being streamed for a season pass price of £49.99. I have not looked too much into the authenticity of it yet but on the face of it it seems quite legitimate.

Re: Super Rugby Pacific 2022
It is listed on the Saanzar website as coverage for the UK so it seems genuine 👍

Re: Super Rugby Pacific 2022
I';ve subscribed... And can stream the rugby champs games from '21 (Sadly I watched the end of the 1st test that we lost after the hooter.. So I'm a little sad now)
Quality isn't the greatest though. It's blocky enough I'd suspect SD only... But heck, I can see the game so it's better that nothing

Re: Super Rugby Pacific 2022
Thanks for letting us know.
Shame about the quality though as I used to plug the laptop into the TV using HDMI with rugbypass and looked pretty clear so would be a shame if I can't watch it on anything bigger than a laptop this year due to quality issues
